Devils Candy (2015)

 

Now this movie flew past my radar all these years, it popped up on one my you-tuber recommendations, so better late than never. Was it worth it? Hell (literally) yeah! The premise is quite simple, a family move into their new home, knowing two people died there, but not how or why. This is bloody and loud with lashings of the red stuff and a Heavy Metal soundtrack to boot, what's not to love?? The performances are excellent throughout, especially Kiara Glasco as the young daughter Zooey who gives turns in a great scream "Queen" final girl (kind of) finale as all Hell breaks loose. Highly recommended stuff and the credits play out with Metallica's "For Whom The Bell Tolls" fuck yeah!!
