Jailbait (2014)

 

Titling a movie 'Jailbait' is pretty ballsy it must be said, you'd have to be careful googling the movie and worrying  about your front door being kicked down, but this is a prison movie, Anna (Sara Malakul Lane) is sent down for the murder of her abusive stepfather for 4-9 years after being betrayed by her awful Mother in court, she must now to learn to survive the harsh environment she faces. Yes its a cheap and cheesy by the numbers women in prison movie , one of those  80s bleak exploitation movies back in the day that filled the VHS £1 a rental video stores (fun times it must be said), but you really do care for Anna as she descends into a violent abusive drug fueled hell, the usual cliches are there, gang violence, the vile perverted prison staff,  a lot, and I mean a lot of T&A (Sara Malakul Lane isn't shy!) but on the whole this is a surprisingly good cheap-ass  exploitation flick.
