Yet another 'Scream' movie-my thoughts.....

 

Now the original 'Scream' movie was released 30 years ago (!!!!) I went to see on the big screen, and it was awesome, who can forget those legendary first 10 minutes when Drew Barrymore is killed off, no one knew this would happen, then we get a fabulous rollercoaster of a film satirizing the horror genre with a great new screen villain, the characters were great, it was full of suspense and scares, you just had no idea what would happen next, it was/is a genre classic. Now here we are in 2026 (what a time to be alive!) and it's the 7th film in the series...... and I just don't care, and I haven't done for a long, long time. I thought it was just me, then this morning I watched Mark Kermode reviewing the latest release and he summed up all my thoughts. (clip below)

Well the reviews are out, it's the same old same apparently, just go away. Please.
